SpeakAsia Corporate Marketing Team 31 December 2013

31 December 2013.
Dear SpeakAsians,
The year of 2013 has been a watershed in the history of SpeakAsia. The company fought with vigor against all odds to come out clean and ensure justice for all our vendors , employees and consumers.

It was in mid December, 2013 we saw a few conclusive actions such as filing of provisional charge-sheet by EOW , Mumbai. This charge-sheet is being carefully examined by our legal team who will suitably respond at the appropriate time . However, we remain confident that we will absolve ourselves of all the alleged charges framed against us.

We move on and welcome the year of 2014 with great expectations and hope . We at SpeakAsia , are confident that soon we will be able to put all our troubles behind and move forward to great glory and prosperity for all.

We appreciate and thank all SpeakAsians for their support and encouragement . Together we can and we will make the year of 2014 full of joy and happiness for all of us.
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous 2014 .

Warm Regards

19/07/2013

 Dear Speakasians,

It has been brought to our notice that certain unscrupulous people have been misleading the SpeakAsia family members by offering them a new business proposition called as Qbule.com, claiming that its connected with Speak Asia. We would like to categorically state that this is completely false. Neither the management of SpeakAsia nor any of its promoters are related to them in any manner whatsoever. We would also like to state that SpeakAsia management, or any of its promoters or their relatives are not involved in any other business in India which is posing as a venture of SAOL. We caution all the members of Speakasia family to verify the details of any new offering on their own, clearly understanding that SAOL obviously will not bear any responsibility in any manner whatsoever.

Warm Regards,

SpeakAsia Corporate Marketing Team 1 April 2013

01/04/2013

Dear SpeakAsians,

In our ongoing effort to execute the Exit policy announced by the company earlier, we had sent out two test batches of payments to a few randomly selected panelists. While the first test batch experienced some glitches, the second test batch was executed with relatively lesser number of obstacles. This has given us the courage to undertake the payment to all the applicants of the exit policy of the company. As the company servers and database are still in the possession EOW, Mumbai, the company has decided to approach the Honourable Mumbai High court and to this end the company has filed a WRIT in the Mumbai high court with reference number WP/1127/2013 with the hearing dated expected on April 5, 2013. The company via this WRIT is requesting the Honourable court to direct the Mumbai EOW to hand over the database of the panelist so that we can execute the exit option at the earliest.

Warm Regards,

ABA 1083/2012 Today’s hearing update :: speakasiaonline.mobi

Mr Navneet Kkhosla was present in court today and he informed the Court that while filling the FIR he was forced to add certain contents which are untrue. He wishes to file an affidavit explaining this and feels that his affidavit will make FIR 60 null and void

Stand over till 28/02/13 by mutual consent
Today’s order
High court website:

ABA 1083/2012

Friends,
I am aware of the uncertainty prevailing at the moment in the minds of panelists at the moment because of the NK factor. Like an uncertain lover we at the moment are concerned about will he or won’t he. The past action of this person is the basic reason, coupled by his unexpected utterances in the BHC during the hearing of ABA 1083/2012 has created an enigma .
I implore all of you to understand that the progress of this particular case was very much in the required direction and this particular aspect which seemed so favourable when it happened does not hold the only key . As it is we were expecting some comments by the Hon’ble Judge on
a) the 350 page affidavit by the Company
b) the much delayed confidential report by the investigating agency
c) the fact that Ashok Sir has not been called for interrogation since 16/12/2012
d) the fact that the parties have not been given the copies of Photographs & Brochures as directed by the Hon’ble court which tantamounts to contempt of the Court
If an eyewash was created then it is as clear to us as to Judiciary and the time consuming activities will be frowned upon by the court .
The deadline for NK to file his affidavit expires on wednesday and I am sure that if he files an affidavit 180 degrees to his observations then the Court will realise the shallow attempt to delay the proceedings and then he shall be adequately reprimanded .
So Friends be not be anguished by the delay but be delighted by the progress made howsoever small it may be as it is an advancement on our journey to the final frontier
Courtesy,
Mr. Anand Prasad

AISPA Update: 23rd December, 2012

Dear Speakasians,

It has been a rather hectic month for Team AISPA because of which this UPDATE has been delayed; we now attempt to update all Speakasians of the present situation as follows:
EXIT PAYMENTS:
The update dated 21st December, 2012 on the company Blog spot: www.speakasiaonlinemarketing.blogspot.in came as a major relief as we all were anxiously awaiting the announcement by the company on the EXIT PAYOUTS.
Of course it did not come as a surprise that the company was suffering from logistical issues, as these issues were already discussed and brought out in the public domain through AISPA update’s of 18th October, 2012 and 23rd October, 2012, we wish to draw your attention that since the beginning we have known of various issues as addressed in the AISPA updates, and it was expected that these will be roadblocks in the process.
In the AISPA update dated 23rd October, 2012 AISPA had brought to your notice the following issues as under:
“FIRST and foremost we need to understand that in the absence of the SAOL website with the company, the company is showing abundant precaution and taking cautious steps to ensure that all refunds are made without any errors and are credited to the EXITING Panelists bank account only and not to anybody else”.
Para 2 of the Company update dated 21st December, 2012 points out that there are multiple claimants for particular ID’s, in this case it must be difficult for the company to assess who in fact is the true and rightful owner of the EXITING ID.
It is pertinent to note that the company should show full diligence and assess in detail and ensure that the payment is made only into the account of the rightful owner of the particular EXITING ID.
We are sure that in such cases the Panelists will surely not mind a delay of couple of weeks rather then not get any refund at all, or worst let someone else get the money which is legally due to them
The company now assures of being able to find resolution to these issues in the coming week, and as such the time line seems reasonable and we all should continue to remain patient and support the company in its endeavour to start the EXIT PAYMENTS.
Through this communication AISPA urges the company Speakasia; to immediately start the “EXIT Payout Process” AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE
We wish to remind all Speakasians that it has been AISPA’s basic objective to ensure that the payments to the Panelists are effected as soon as possible and without any problem.
THE COURT MATTERS:
1. a) WP/3210/2011: Quashing of RAIGAD (Mhasala) FIR 13/2011
b) WP/3211/2011: Quashing of THANE (Mira Road) FIR/1324/2011
The prayer in this matter has since been amended from quashing to transfer of Investigation.
We wish to draw your attention to the Order of the Hon’ble Divison Bench of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court dated 22nd November, 2012, relevant portion is reproduced herein below:
“In view of the facts of the case, the case for transfer of investigation will have to be considered by the appropriate authority in accordance with Circular dated 5th July, 2012. Therefore, we direct that decision shall be taken within a period of two weeks from today”.
The matter was listed on 7th December, 2012 under the caption “for directions”. As the matter did not reach listing on 7th December, 2012, the matter was listed for directions on 20th December, 2012.
We attempt to clarify and explain the order referred above dated 22nd November, 2012 as follows:
The courts having been over burdened with innumerable cases for transfer of investigation asked the Director General of Police (DGP) to set up committees to deal with the issue of transfer of investigation.
Vide circular dated 5th July, 2012, the DGP set up a three member committee under each Commissionerate, to look into and decide on the issue of transfer of Investigation.
As per the order dated 22nd November, 2012 the Hon’ble Divison Bench had asked this committee to take necessary decision and based on such a decision the Hon’ble DB would then pass necessary “Directions” in the matter.
As mentioned above this WP/3210 & 3211/2011 was scheduled to be listed on 20th December, 2012 for “Directions”.
On 20th December, 2012, the respondents i.e. EOW Thane, has submitted the confidential Reports to the Hon’ble High Court and the matter is now posted for “Final Hearing” on 22nd January, 2013.
The parties have been granted Liberty to file compilation of Judgments to further their case. This means that the parties can file previous judgements in similar case as decided by the HC’s and SC to prove their contention.
ABA/1083/2012: Anticipatory Bail Application (ABA) of Mr. Ashok Bahirwani, Secretary, AISPA.
We all know and it is public knowledge that Mr. Bahirwani joined the SAOL Business Model on 16th May, 2011 much after the Speakasia Business came to be halted on 11th May, 2011.
Mr. Bahirwani came to the forefront after AISPA was formed on 14th August, 2011 much after FIR 153/2011 (renumbered at EOW as C.R. 60/2011).
As per legal opinion Mr. Bahirwani cannot be prosecuted U/s 406, 420 and 120 of the IPC.
Mr. Bahirwani, if at all, is a copy book example of a victim, being one of the last of the joinees, who has not recovered any money from the Speakasia Business Model, and as such he cannot even be accused of any mischief under the PCMC (Banning) Act, 1978.
In this ABA, Mr. Ashok Bahirwani, in larger public interest, brought to the notice of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court that the Company Business Model in itself does not fall under the mischief of the PCMC (Banning) Act, 1978.
On his prayer the court has permitted him to serve notice on the Company to appear before the court and give its say in the matter.
In this ABA matter on the consent of the EOW, the Hon’ble High Court was pleased to allow Videography of the Investigation/interview of Mr. Ashok Bahirwani, with the Investigating Officer (IO).
Surprising to note that the IO did not summon Mr. Bahirwani for almost 9 days after the order was passed and summoned him on the last day before the hearing i.e. on 16th December, 2012.
Due to some technical issues the Videography could not be undertaken, and on 17th December, 2012 the EOW withdrew its consent to the VIDEOGRAPHY.

The EOW also objected to the company being made a party but the Hon’ble High Court has allowed the company to come and give its say in the matter.
The ABA is now posted for 9th January, 2013 for “Final Hearing”

THE MISINFORMED AND BIASED MEDIA:
We Speakasians have borne the brunt and felt the excruciatingly painful experience of how a misinformed and biased media can harm an honest Business Model.
We have come to realise how their reach and power can change the perception of the entire nation in general and unfortunately the authorities and powers that be, in particular.
After having mischievously and miserably ravaged the Speakasia Business Model, this uncontrollable Frankenstein, a.k.a. “Media” has set out to destroy this sunrise Networking industry.
Two Articles appearing in premier Business Newspaper need to be read and explained as to why we state as above.
Herein below are the links to these two articles:
In reply to the article authored by Ms. Shruti Srivastava appearing in the Financial Express on 4thDecember, 2012 we have to state as below:
This Article has drawn on the name of Speakasia without actually understanding the Speakasia Business Model in its entirety; unfortunately the said article suffers from lack of journalistic prudence.
Although we don’t deny that there is an urgent need to set up a Monitoring and a Regulating authority for the MLM industry we, vehemently deny that the Speakasia matter is in any way close to being a fraud.
The author pens these lines in her opening Paragraph and we reproduce as below:
“with a compensation plan in which the subscribers would compulsorily have to enroll certain minimum number of subscribers to become entitled to monetary benefits or link the monetary benefits or commission to the subscribers”.
Ms. Shruti Srivastava, there is NO COMPULSORY enrolment requirement in the Speakasia Business Model and as such your statement instead of being read as why Speakasia falls under the mischief of MONEY CIRCULATION in fact is testimonial to the fact that the Speakasian Business Model does not fall under the gambit of MONEY CIRCULATION and thus the application of PCMC (Banning) Act, 1978 on Speakasia is uncalled for, unjustified and grossly illegal.
The author goes on to end the impugned article by once again mischievously referring and commenting on Speakasia in a baseless and misinformed manner.
The Speakasia Business Model is not in any way based on the principals of MLM marketing as there is no compulsion what so ever and no minimum buying or selling requirement on a monthly basis.
We do not wish to comment on the intelligence or prudence of the said author, our only objection and point of concern is on Mr. Basu having contemptuously referring and/or drawing on the Speakasia Business model.
We are sure that Mr. Debashis has not cared or tried to understand the Speakasia Business Model and as is seen nowadays has based his “facts” on mere hearsay.
Mr. Basu for your information it is for the first time in history that an Association of Panelists (investors for the uninitiated) have remained united together for such a long period of time only because we the Panelists were sure and trusted implicitly the intention of the Company to affect the refunds.
Mr. Basu for your information it is for the first time in history that an Association of Panelists (investors for the uninitiated) have remained united together for such a long period of time only because we the Panelists were sure and trusted implicitly the intention of the Company to affect the refunds.
If you have the patience and the inclination to really understand the PCMC (Banning) Act, 1978 may we suggest that you read the following Supreme Court Order for better understanding of the Act.

Commenting on the Second Article referred above authored by Mr. Debashis Basu in the Business Standard on Sunday i.e. 9th December, 2012.
Mr. Debashis contrary to popular belief, Speakasia has not as you refer “went belly up” In fact, Speakasia is standing tall and fighting back against all allegation and Speakasia has in fact announced an EXIT POLICY way back in August 2011, and in spite of the Mediation Process having been called off, the company has started its EXIT PAYMENTS.
It has been seen, in many past Financial Failures even when the promoters have been arrested and jailed, even after their Bank accounts have been freezed and the properties been seized the marginal investor has never ever been repaid, the investor has never recovered his investment. The money invested never ever comes back even if there is a conviction in the matter.
Here is a company who has committed and is in fact refunding the money claimed by some percentage of Subscribers and instead of appreciating this act the media is ganging up to create a negative bias in the minds of the general public.
Mr. Basu, Speakasia is on the verge of creating history as being one of the rarest of rare companies who has started to refund the subscription cost of its Panelists.
To sell your articles to the general public, Mr. Basu you may use fancy words like “Ponzi etc” which have no legal meaning as they are not defined as per Indian Laws, in the absence of any legality such articles as referred above are a sheer waste of time and nothing less than banter, these articles are not even worth the paper they are written on.
Mr. Basu you have sadly and grossly misunderstood section 2(c) of the PCMC (Banning) Act, 1978 and I urge you to revisit the section once again you may realise that when a Business Model does not have joining of members under them compulsorily then such Business Model does not fall under the mischief of the PCMC (Banning) Act, 1978.

UNITED FRONT OF NETWORKING PROFESSIONALS:
In wake of the various News reports appearing in many “Reputed” [sic] Business Periodicals and Business Dailies [sic][sic], over the last couple of weeks which have been targeted at the Nascent NETWORKING INDUSTRY, we at AISPA think that this is the opportune correct time that all professionals working in the Networking Industry should unite under a larger platform cutting across company lines and considerations, to create a unified Confederation of types, to counter the misinformation and bias against the NETWORKING INDUSTRY in general.
Only if we stand united and together that we will be able to voice our opinion and do our small bit to save this sunrise NETWORKING INDUSTRY and forge an alliance to bring our opinion before the authorities and policy makers.
AISPA most humbly offers its assistance and help in coordinating to set up such a confederation on a NATIONAL LEVEL.
We appeal to all NETWORKING PROFESSIONALS let us get UNITED NOW before it is too late and the last nail is hammered into the proverbial coffin for the NETWORKING INDUSTRY.
This movement if it happens, it will be for our survival, it will be for our safe and secured future.
“Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival”.

SpeakAsia Corporate Marketing Team 21 December 2012

Dear Panelist,
Further to our last update on the execution of the exit policy. we wish to inform our SpeakAsia community that we have finished analysing the results of the first test batch of payouts that were sent.
We have identified certain roadblocks such as multiple claimants to the same panelist id or bank details not matching with the ones submitted at the time of applying for the exit policy, because of which not everyone got the remittance in their accounts.
We are at this moment addressing those issues and hope to have a resolution to them by the end of this month. Once we have the resolutions in place we will then send out a second batch of test payouts. On successful completion of this second batch we will commence the payout as per the exit policy.
We understand that there are delays in the process. One of the main contributor to this delay is the fact that we have had to do all the transactions and checking manually as our old automated systems are still under the custody of EOW Mumbai Police. We appeal to all the SpeakAsians to remain patient and bear with us as we work feverishly towards attaining our goals.

Warm Regards,
SpeakAsia Corporate Marketing Team

500 year old girl

News Year : 2007

In 2007

She died over 500 years ago yet, with her hands resting on her lap and head falling forward so that her finely braided hair slips across her eyes, this 15-year-old girl looks as peaceful as if she has just fallen into a sleep from which she might wake at any moment.
Her frozen body has been hailed as one of the best preserved Incan mummies ever found and, this week, she went on public display for the first time in the High Mountain Archaeological Museum in Argentina.
Visitors to the museum have been peering at the downy hairs still visible on her arms, the perfectly intact skin on her face and the lice that must have been scurrying through her hair when she died and are still lodged there.

Along with the remains of two younger children, the teenager was plucked from the slopes of a cloudswept volcano in 1999 by a team who battled for three days through driving blizzards and 70mph winds to reach the summit 22,000ft above sea level.
There, the archaeologists spotted a rectangular walled area, dug down through five feet of rocks and soil and finally uncovered an Incan burial platform.
One of the team was lowered headfirst into the icy pit, his colleagues hanging onto his ankles, so that he could scrape away the soil and pull the dead children out with his hands.

The three Children of Llullaillaco, as the mummies came to be known after the mountain on which they met their death, were found with an extraordinary collection of elaborate gold, silver and shell statues, textiles, pots containing food and even an extravagant headdress made from the white feathers of an unidentified bird.
But it was the state of the bodies, preserved not by embalming, like Egyptian mummies, but simply by the natural deep-freeze in which they were abandoned, that scientists found most remarkable.
The younger girl's body was slightly damaged because it had been struck by lightning. But CT scans showed that their internal organs appeared to be in perfect condition: one still had blood in its heart, the brains were completely undamaged and when the blood vessels were thawed the blood that poured out of them was crimson, as it would be in a living person.

Mountain tomb: The burial site where the children were found
"The doctors have been shaking their heads and saying they sure don't look 500 years old but as if they'd died a few weeks ago," said U.S. archaeologist and expedition member Johan Reinhard at the time.
"And a chill went down my spine the first time I saw her hands because they look like those of a person who is alive."
It's thought that the children were chosen by the Incas for their beauty and sacrificed in a ceremony called a capacocha.
"The Incas didn't do this very often," according to Reinhard.
"The sacrifices were children because they were considered to be the most pure."
They were not sacrificed to feed or appease the gods but, rather, "to enter the realm of the gods and live in paradise with them. It was considered a great honour, a transition to a better life from which they would be expected to remain in contact with the community through shamans (holy men)".
The Incas believed that by scaling the snow-topped heights of the mountains they could get closer to the heavens and communicate better with the gods.
The three children's journey to the place of their death would have begun some 500 miles north from where they were found, in Cuzco, in what is now Peru.
They would then have set off by foot, in a long procession with other children, priests and officials, arriving at the foot of the Llullaillaco some weeks later.
Given an alcohol made from fermented corn to drink, and coca leaves to chew to ward off fatigue and pain, they must then have been marched steadily uphill, into the thinning air.
They would have had a desperately hard time of it: above 16,000ft the body struggles to adapt itself to altitude, and as well as oxygen deprivation their small bodies would have had to cope with painfully low temperatures.
Once they reached the summit, cold and exhausted, and dressed in their finest clothes - in the case of the elder girl, a grey shawl adorned with bone and metal ornaments - the children were allowed to die from exposure.
"The priests lit fires or burned offerings as they waited for the children to fall slowly unconscious and they were ready to place in their tombs," Constanza Ceruti, the Argentinian anthropologist told the New Scientist magazine.
The three children have been stored in a freezer at the museum where the elder girl is now on display in a specially built case that keeps her remains at - 20C, surrounded by a special gas to prevent deterioration and in a pressurised atmosphere to guard against ice burn.
The decision to display La Doncella -- Spanish for 'The Maiden' - at all has been controversial.
The head of an association representing Argentina's indigenous peoples complained that it would be, "a violation of our loved ones".
He said: "Our ancestors taught us our sacred places should not be touched."
As a compromise, the museum have made only the older girl, and not the younger children - a girl of six and a boy aged seven - an exhibit.
But even this decision was not without its dissenters. Christian Vitry, the museum's director of science and one of the expedition team, said he felt they should never have been taken from the mountain.
"The research could have been done in situ and the children left as they were," he said, before admitting that "98 per cent of those signing the museum's guestbook wanted to look at the mummy."
There is also an intriguing codicil to this story: DNA samples taken from the bodies were used first to establish the exact age of the children when they died and then to launch a search for any possible living relatives.
After taking hundreds of samples from Peruvians, scientists found a DNA match between the 15-year-old girl and a man from the small village at the foot of Mount Ampato some 1,000 miles away from the burial site, making him a "living Inca" with a direct blood line to a young girl who 500 years ago was chosen to live with the gods.

Important Questions To Ask Yourself

What questions do you ask yourself every day?

Believe it or not, the kind of questions you ask determine the kind of life you lead. That’s because your questions trigger its own set of answers, which lead to certain emotions, which then lead to certain actions (or inactions), followed by results. If you ask yourself limiting questions, you’ll get limited results. If you ask yourself mind-opening, forwarding questions, you’ll gain a lot more out of them.

Some people like to ask questions like “Why am I so unlucky?”, “What if I had done this earlier?” and “Why am I always in such a situation?”. Because these questions are backward looking, the answers you get with them are naturally disempowering. On the other hand, questions like “What can I learn from this experience?”, “What can I do differently move forward?” and “What am I grateful for?” are empowering. They provoke you and get you thinking, putting you on the path to a better life.

f you’re someone who normally doesn’t self-reflect, you might be stumped by questions. However, this is perfectly normal. I remember when I was a small primary school student, the teacher asked us how we would describe ourselves. The question got me stumped, because I had never thought much about it. It took me some time to find some meaningful adjectives to describe myself, but even then they didn’t seem right. That was one of the starting points of my self-exploration journey. Somewhere along the way, I became a big fan of introspection, enjoying the process of self-reflecting and thinking over questions.
Today, I believe questions are a key to self-awareness and personal growth. In my 1-1 coaching sessions, I enable my clients to discover the answers to their goals/questions by asking them the right questions. It’d be easy if I just tell my coachees what they “should” do and what they “should not” do. But that’s not the point. It’s about empowering my clients to discover themselves through asking the right guiding questions, catered to their situation and their profiles. The right questions will help them untangle the blockages in them and connect with their inner self.
It doesn’t matter if you get stumped in the beginning, or if you don’t know the answers to the questions at first. Our minds are boundless. Just because you don’t get an answer immediately, it doesn’t mean there are no answers. The answers are there – it’s just that your mind is too foggy since you’ve not consulted it before. The more you ask, the clearer your mind will be, and the more ready you’ll be to receive the answers.
I’ve come up with a set of important questions for your self-reflection. Some are questions which I ask my 1-1 clients, to uncover the real them. These questions will help you focus on what’s important to you, and what you want. They are not meant to be answered all at one shot – they are to be thought over again and again, as part of your growth journey. Pick out a few questions to reflect on today, then bookmark and check back a week later to think over the others. Check back regularly to reflect on the questions.
Remember, there is no one final answer. It’s a continuous discovery process. Your answers to the questions today will be different from your answers one month, three months, six months, and one year down the road. Add these important questions to your weekly review sessions. This is a highly important article for your growth journey.

Here they are:
  1. Who are you?
  2. What are you passionate about?
  3. What are the achievements you are most proud of?
  4. What are you most grateful for in life?
  5. What are the most important things to you in life?
  6. How would you describe yourself?
  7. What are your values? What do you represent? What do you want to embody?

  9. … Why or Why not?
  10. How can you love yourself more today?
  11. What is your ideal self? What does it mean to be your highest self?

  17. If you have an hour left to live, what would you do?
  18. If you have one minute left to live, what would you do?
  19. What would you do today if there is no more tomorrow?
  20. What are the biggest things you’ve learned in life to date?
  21. What advice would you give to yourself 3 years ago?

  31. What would you do if you cannot fail; if there are no limitations in money, resources, time or networks?
  32. What do you want to achieve 1 year from now?
  33. … 3 years?
  34. … 5 years?
  35. … 10 years?
  36. How important are these goals to you?
  37. What if these goals are doubled? Tripled? Magnified by 10? How would you feel? Would you prefer to achieve these or your previous goals?

  43. For every experience you get: What are the biggest things you have learned?
  44. How can you do this better the next time?
  45. If you had 1 million dollars, what would you do with it?
  46. Do you love your job?
  47. What is your ideal career?

5 Ways To Achieve Personal Excellence

Excellence – noun. the state of excelling; superiority; eminence: Are you someone who strives for excellence? If you are reading this post, chances are you are . Personally, I firmly believe that all of us are here to achieve greatness; to be the best that we can be and to shake and move the world. There is nothing more satisfying than overcoming a challenge that was previously deemed insurmountable; nothing more satisfying than looking back at who you are now and realizing that you have grown much more than you thought you could. To be human is to live to our highest potential. Like you, I’m someone who endlessly strives for excellence. Excellence is one of my top values in life and is something which I hold myself towards ever since I was a kid. When I was in school, I was constantly striving for the best; I graduated from my business school as the top student in my major (I was in marketing). In my career, I secured placement in the best company in the world for marketers, after being pit against hundreds of applicants and evaluated in multiple rounds of tests and interviews. Even as I ultimately chose to quit my corporate job last year, it was a decision made to wholly pursue my passion in personal development and helping others to achieve personal excellence. In my years of pursuit of personal excellence, I have found 5 timeless steps in ensuing my own growth which I’d love to share with you here and I hope will be useful to you:

 1) Believe in Yourself

Self belief is the utmost important step. If you don’t believe in yourself, how do you expect anyone else to believe in you? If you want to achieve greatness, you have to first believe that you are capable of doing it. Know that there is no one else but you who can attain what you want to do. As Napoleon Hill puts it, “What the mind can conceive, it can achieve”. One of my favorite stories is Sylvester Stallone’s real-life rags to riches story. Before he was propelled to stardom with the Rocky series, he was living out what others would deem as a ‘paltry’ existence as a wannabe actor. Because of his birth complication where he was born with a side of his face paralyzed and a slurred speech, he was rejected by countless casting agents in his quest for his dreams. At some point, he became poor as a pauper, and even his wife left him. But he never gave up. He firmly believed that he would be able to make it as an actor – not just an actor, but a movie star. And he finally did – today, he is an internationally acclaimed movie star, film director, producer and screenwriter. This would never have happened if he gave up his self-belief.

2) Keep Building Your Skills

The path to excellence is a continual one which requires constant upgrading and skills development. It’s said that it takes someone 10,000 hours of practice to reach the top in his/her discipline. Have you invested your 10,000 hours to develop your skills? If you haven’t, when can you start investing the time? If you have, how can you invest another 10,000 hours? No matter how much time and effort we have already spent in developing ourselves, there will always be opportunity to improve and be better. Think about the skills which you possess at the moment as well as skills which you would like to have, but have yet to acquire. For example, some of the skills which I target to build for the upcoming few months are (1) Writing (2) Public Speaking (3) Productivity (4) Discipline (5) Organizational Skills (6) Badminton. How about yours?

 3) Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

When you are out of your comfort zone, you are already growing by default. Comfort zones are called comfort zones because it’s where you feel safe and comfortable. When you stay in an area of comfort, you subject yourself to things you have become accustomed to – which leads to little or no growth. On the other hand, if you move beyond that area of comfort, even by a little bit, you start facing things which you are not exposed to before. This new context and new stimuli triggers off a reprocessing process in your mind as you adapt to handle them. This means growth. What are your comfort zones when it comes to your work? Environment? Diet? Daily routines? Places you go to? Clothes you wear? People you hang out with? Your goals? How can you change them around just to experience something different? How can you push yourself to an uncomfortable zone so you can grow? The more uncomfortable you feel about something, the more it means you are growing.

 4) Be Around the Best.

I love this quote from Jim Rohn, which I feel sums this up – “You are the average of the five people you are around“. Who you are with has a role in affecting who you become. If you hang around people who are committed to excellence, sets themselves up to achieve nothing but the best, you are going to emerge a different person compared to if you hang around people who are jaded and are constantly lamenting about life. Cut yourself loose from people who don’t support you and increase your contact with the people who do. Above all, connect yourself with the best – the cream of the crop. If you have a goal to be a chef with your very own restaurant, start linking up with the top chefs of your country, or even possibly the world as you move forward on your endeavors. Even if it’s not possible to be personal friends, you can be connected with them by virtue of exposing yourself to outputs of their work – books, shows, interviews, etc. You will find yourself improving by leaps and bounds just from framing yourself together with them.

5) Set Huge Goals.

Emphasis on the word huge. Not the normal, standard goals which you know you will definitely be achieving with a certain amount of work and effort. We’re talking about the humongous goals which make you feel somewhat nervous and uncomfortable on whether it’s possible to even attain them. These are the goals which will really make you stretch yourself, soar, and then beam with an incredible lot of satisfaction when you do achieve them. Even if you don’t eventually get to nail them in the bag, the most important thing to realize is you have grown a lot more than if you set puny goals and achieved them. Be focused on the amount of growth you get and don’t be attached to the specific outcomes, because the outcomes don’t define who you are – Who you are define who you are. Do you have any other personal ways / strategies to achieve personal excellence? I’ll love to hear from you Please share them in the comments section!

SpeakAsia Corporate Marketing Team 21 November 2012

Dear SpeakAsians,
A few pages such as speakasia online support are fraudulently claiming to be the official company pages in the social networking sites such as Facebook. We would like to state that the company has only one official medium of communication that is Speakasiaonlinemarketing.blogspot.com. Anybody else claiming to represent the company is doing so falsely and the company is initiating strict legal action against such websites & social networking sites.
On the payout front, the company had sent out the first set of test remittances to the bank accounts of some of the panelists. The company at the moment is collating the data as to who all have received it and for those who didn't get it, the company is identifying the cause and finding remedial solutions for it. Once this exercise is complete the company will then start the payout process in full swing.

Warm Regards,
SpeakAsia Corporate Marketing Team

K-Mite AgroProducts - K-link Products

Rs.616.00
 Product Information
An organic formulation in combo-pack for effective management of specific crop pests like Red Mites, White flies etc… (The Liquid and Powder ingredients to be used in combination).

What are Mites?
Mites, along with ticks, are small arthropods belonging to the subclass Acari (also known as Acarina)
To the naked eye, spider mites look like tiny, moving dots; however, you can see them easily with a 10X hand lens. Adult female, the largest forms, are less than 1/20 inch long. Spider mites lives in colonies, mostly on the undersurfaces of leaves; a single colony may contain hundreds of individuals.

Controlling Mites, White flies and other insect pests:

Chemical control of mites generally involves pesticides that are specifically developed for spider mite control (miticides or accaricides). Few insecticides are effective for spider mites and many other insect pests and many even aggravate problems. Furthermore, most insects become resistant to new pesticides within two or four years, making control difficult.

With these disadvantages of chemical pesticides, K-Mite stands tall in the management of Mites in following ways:
  • Contains the complex alkaloids extracted from Vitex negundo which interfere with the immunological mechanism of these pests thus protecting the plants.
  • Being based on alkaloids of plants extracts, pests cannot develop resistance because alkaloids is a group of complex compounds and not a single chemical molecule.
  • Eco-friendly posing no threat to the environment.
  • Non-toxic to non-targets including human begins.

Aphids are small, soft-bodied insects with long, slender mouth parts that they use to pierce stems, leaves and other tender plant parts and suck out plant fluids. Almost every plant has one or more aphid species that occasionally feeds on it. Many aphid species are difficult to distinguish; however, identification to species is not necessary to control them in most situations.

Chemical control of Aphids, Jassids, Thrips and similar insect pests generally involves application of pesticides. Few insecticides are effective for long term applications and many even aggravate problems. Happy Diwali to all the Members of our group

It’s just under a month until Diwali, and if you’re starting to think about planning your lessons and gathering resources then you might want to take a look at the following book: A Story Of Diwali – The Festival Of Light.

It was written by Pippa Howard, a nursery practitioner whom I know from my brief time working as a teaching assistant after leaving university. I was lucky enough to receive a copy and I’m very impressed. It tells the story of Rama and Laskshman’s journey to rescue the beautifull princess Sita after she was taken by Ravana, the evil demon with ten heads.

It’s perfectly pitched for use in early years settings, using simple but engaging language. It also looks fantastic. The illustrations (by children’s illustrator and graphic designer Jan Moffit) are vibrant and attractive and really compliment the story. All in all it’s a fantastic introduction to the Diwali story and I would highly recommend.

Increase Your Brand's Presence on Pinterest

Pinterest is the latest social network to make it to the big leagues. In 2012 it has grown with millions of followers and became the fastest growing network up to that point. Its ever-growing popularity has naturally enticed brands to use the platform to market and to connect with users across the social network. However, Pinterest's unique look and functionality as an image-based social platform makes it a new and unique challenge for marketers. Here are a few things to keep in mind if your brand is thinking of joining Pinterest.
Add a pin it button to your website
Earlier in the year it as reported that Pinterest was driving more traffic to websites than major social network, Twitter. While this number is perhaps not quite that high anymore, it is still one of top ways in which people are finding their way to all sorts of websites and blogs. This is because all 'pins' link back to their original source when clicked on - a great plus for traffic and SEO. By providing your users with a ready to use pin it button, you are essentially reminding them to take that social action.
Add a follow button to your website
The Pinterest "Follow" button is similar to the Facebook, Twitter, or other social media icons you may already have on your website. This is really just a way of telling people who visit your website that you are active on Pinterest awhile simultaneously providing them with a link to your Pinterest profile that instantly lets them follow you. This will help brands that are new to Pinterest to grow their base following.
Use great images
In order to be successful on Pinterest, you will need to host eye-catching images on your website or blog. Even if your company or brand is not strictly visual, you can still get creative on your blog by posting images that pertain to other aspects that pertain to your brand. People are most likely to pin images that are beautiful, mesmerising or inspiring, so invest time in finding the right images to use on your blog or website.
Pinterest is quite strict when it comes to what brands are not able to use the social network for. It clearly states in its terms of use that the site should not be used by brands as a means of direct promotion. This basically means that posting images that look like ads or flyers is a no-go and you really should avoid this. Promoting your brand on Pinterest needs to be more subtle, pin nice images from your site that links to articles, or even pictures of your product if your product is pretty to behold. It's important to also diversify your pins - you should pin and repin various images and things that are not directly linking to your own content. This tells people that you are engaging as a part of the social network rather than just funneling content. Be sure to follow other users and publications that may feature your brand or similar products. The idea is to build a company lifestyle feel through images that will attract a wide array of Pinterest fans.

AISPA UPDATE: 23rd October, 2012

Dear Speakasians,
This entire wonderful family was extremely happy when the news that the company had as promised sent out the Confirmation E mails exactly within two weeks as mentioned in their earlier communication of 5th October, 2012.
AISPA is duty bound by its principal objective to ensure that all its members who wish to EXIT out and wish to take refund of their Subscription Amount should be assisted without fail to ensure that their amounts are credited to their bank accounts as early as possible.
Towards this end we at AISPA have come to realize that there is some confusion in the minds of some of the panelists who have opted for the Exit Option and we attempt to clarify on some of the queries below.
1. FIRST and foremost we need to understand that in the absence of the SAOL website with the company, the company is showing abundant precaution and taking cautious steps to ensure that all refunds are made without any errors and are credited to the EXITING Panelists bank account only and not to anybody else.
2. Because of this precaution the company has made it mandatory for the panelists to fill up all the fields in the CONFIRMATION FORM which will be found by following the link www.speakasiaonline.com/services as it appears in the Confirmatory mail received by the Panelists.
AISPA has come to realise that two fields namely “List of Panel ID Referred By you” and “Attach Copy of your mobile bill (Registered with your Speak Asia ID)” have been removed as a mandatory field.
3. On close following of the various social networking websites and through interaction with many panelists, we at AISPA have come to realise that a large number of EXITING Panelists have received confirmation mails, we can safely conclude that all those who had opted to EXIT OUT and who had filled out the EXIT APPLICATION Form correctly in all aspects and whose EXIT Application Forms were in order and received by the company on or before 31st March, 2012 would have by now received these CONFIRMATION MAILS.
4. It is but logical to understand that the Panelists who are able to fill up correctly this EXIT CONFIRMATION FORM after following the link: www.speakasiaonline.com/services through the mail, will receive payments first and all those who are not able to fill up this CONFIRMATION FORM in all aspects correctly will receive the payments only after further verification/confirmation by the company field force and/or the UPLINES of the Exiting Panelists.
We urge and advise all EXITING Panelists to please fill up the CONFIRMATION FORM carefully with due diligence to ensure a prompt refund of the subscription amount.
5. Member Panelists who have not opted for EXIT earlier should not fill up this confirmation form as this will not be processed; the company has earlier informed us that the company has received 94,000 odd EXIT APPLICATIONS indicating that the EXIT OPTION stands closed as of now with EXIT APPLICATIONS received by the company on or before 31st March, 2012.
6. Whether the Company will have one more round of EXIT APPLICATIONS will have to be seen when the company will announce their policy and communicate with us through their official BlogSpot: www.speakasiaonlinemarketing.blogspot.com.
7. Some members wanted to know how much time it will take for the company to start remitting the refunds after receiving CONFIRMATION FORMS duly filled in all aspects.
We feel that as soon as the company will have enough numbers of these correctly filled CONFIRMATION FORMS, and if there is no second verification process scheduled, then they should start remitting out the refunds to those correctly filled CONFIRMATION FORMS on first come first served basis.
8. As per the EXIT POLICY of the company as announced on 1st August, 2011 it is clear that the company is interested in refunding the entire subscription cost to each and every EXITING Panelists.
Please do remember that the Subscription cost will be refunded minus the registration cost of Rs. 1000/- per ID after deducting whatever has been withdrawn, transferred or used in any manner.
9. Based on the interaction of AISPA Team members on various forums and through the various telephonic enquiries made with them, Team AISPA has listed out a few common questions and through this communication we wish to draw the attention of the company to the under mentioned queries/doubts in the minds of our member panelists and consumers.

We at AISPA sincerely hope and request the Company to give heed to these issues and work out a resolution mechanism to address the genuine concerns as below:
a. I had paid my down line and taken the ID details along with E mail password.
Now if I continue with the EXIT to recover money paid to the down line what details should I provide? I am concerned that if the money goes to his bank account which was provided during registration on the SAOL website then it may be difficult for me to recover the money paid to him/her.
b. One of the profiles on a particular ID in my tripod is the name of my grandmother, who does not have a bank account and while registering this ID on the SAOL website, I had not uploaded any banking details on her profile.
Can I now give my bank details on her profile which is an ID in my tripod?
c. If a Panelist has various bank A/c’s in multiple banks and he is not confirmed about which bank A/c no. had been provided during registration on SAOL website.
Now for exit -confirmation, can he give his any personal bank A/c no. in the EXIT CONFIRMATION FORM?
d. The following queries below pertain to the EXIT CONFIRMATION FORM:
i. E Mail ID: I do not remember which E mail Id I had given for this particular ID in my tripod and will it suffice if I give this New E Mail ID on which I have received the confirmatory Mail.
ii. Subscription Date: I do not remember the exact date will only the Month and Year suffice.
iii. Bank Account Number: Do I have to provide only that bank account which was mentioned during registration or can I give the bank details where I wish to receive the refund.
iv. Sponsors Name and ID: As my upline is not available or my Upline does not remember under which ID he had created my ID.
Will it help only if the name of the upline is given without his ID?
v. List of Panel ID referred: (AISPA has noted that this field is no longer mandatory)I don’t remember under which ID I have placed my Downlines or where I had placed my various downlines.
vi. Mobile Number: (AISPA has noted that this field is no longer mandatory)
a) The mobile number registered with SAOL has been deactivated.
b) The registered mobile Number is Pre Paid so there is no Bill.
We once again through this communication remind all Member Panelists and Consumers that AISPA is duty bound to protect your rights and work in a manner which will always be for the larger good of this wonderful family.
We at AISPA wish to once again offer our services in whatever way it will be required to ensure speedy disbursement of Subscription amount to all the members who have opted to EXIT out of the association with the company.
AISPA had filed an SLP in the Supreme Court and on mentioning the matter was heard on 19th October, 2012.
Based on the observation and advice of the Hon’ble Supreme Court our counsel has withdrawn the SLP.
As per the advice of the Hon’ble Supreme Court the next step in the matter will be taken as per law shortly.
We all know that WP/3210/2011 and WP/3211/2011 are now listed for hearing on 16th October, 2012.
Through this communication we urge all Panelists to help their team members who have opted to take the EXIT OPTION in filling up their EXIT CONFIRMATION FORM correctly so that the payments to such EXITING family members are processed without any further delay.
Team AISPA takes this opportunity to wish this wonderful family a very happy Vijaya Dashami.
Jai Speakasians,
Jai AISPA
Warm Regards
Team AISPA
